Garden Party Doll Shoe Bracelet by Sara Gallo

It isn’t often that you come across tiny doll shoes wrapped around a wrist, but as you can see here, Sara Gallo has found a new use for the petite footwear that dolls like Barbie wear.

I spotted this bracelet on a new website called fab.com. 

It’s pages and pages of stuff they deem fabulous at discount prices for the time they post the items.  There’s something for everyone, but as a lover of all things shoes and dolls, Sara’s jewelry spoke the loudest to me.

Necklaces, bracelets, even earrings made with tons of tiny shoes… 

They are a part of many experimental series Sara’s been working on.  She’s a trained jewelry designer and metal artist who strings together found objects into pieces of wearable art.  This particular collection happens to be itsy-bitsy doll shoes that she had kept in drawers in her studio.
