When I covered the first Salon for a new women’s networking group called WOMEN A.R.E. earlier this year, I was confident that co-founders Angella Nazarian and Beth Friedman were going to be empowering women everywhere. Through their efforts, they bring together influential leaders to help create positive change on important issues that effect women worldwide.
Their first successful year is culminating in an Inaugural Summit on November 7 in Beverly Hills, CA. In this “intimate forum” for 300 women (which is already sold out), those attending will be able to connect with 25 prominent CEOs, entrepreneurs, artists and philanthropists. Sharon Stone is receiving their Trailblazer Award for her ceaseless dedication to charitable work.
I spoke with Beth Friedman just days before the big event to find out what’s in store for these lucky women attending the Summit. I only wish I could be there, but she assured me that there will be more gatherings like this in the future.
