TWE 293: Financial Planning Terms to Know with Money Manager Catherine Scrivano on Building Money Power | The Women's Eye Podcast

Available also on Apple Music, Spotify and Stitcher

Don’t miss a BRAND NEW episode of The Women’s Eye podcast with Catherine Anaya as I talk with Catherine Scrivano, President of CASCO Financial Group in Phoenix, Arizona, about essential need-to-know terms when doing your financial planning.

Catherine is also a regular contributor to The Women’s Eye podcast on our Building Money Power segment.

Building Money Power with Catherine Scrivano, financial planner and founder of CASCO Financial Group, Phoenix, AZ | The Women's Eye Podcast

In this episode, Catherine Scrivano talks about the language of a financial plan or the terms used in financial planning and why it’s so important for us to understand them.

“I compare it to listening to medical professionals talk or if you have ever visited a medical website. The difference between getting information that’s helpful to you that you’re going to be able to use versus just listening to noise can be a matter of the jargon. It’s almost a foreign language sometimes,” she says.

Catherine Scrivano discusses terms like INFLATION, LIFE-EXPECTANCY and RISK TOLERANCE.

She breaks down those words, definitions them and then factors them into determining your net worth.

She also talks about TIME HORIZONS or knowing how long it will be until you want to start spending particular sums of money as well as how long it will be until you want to reach your financial goals.

Catherine explains how ultimately that information can influence the financial plan you create for your present and future financial goals.

“You don’t have to be wealthy to be wise.”
Catherine Scrivano
