TWE Host Catherine Anaya (l) with Financial Planner Catherine Scrivano, President of CASCO Financial Group | The Women's Eye Podcast | TheWomensEye.com

If you want to know how to invest and make an impact around the world, don’t miss this BRAND NEW episode of The Women’s Eye podcast with Catherine Anaya as I talk with Catherine Scrivano, President of CASCO Financial Group in Phoenix, Arizona. In this episode, we talk about ethical investing: How to make a meaningful, measurable difference in society while still generating a profit.

Available also on Apple Music, Spotify and Stitcher

Catherine is also a regular contributor to The Women’s Eye podcast with her Building Money Power segment.

Catherine says ethical investing is sometimes referred to as mission investing, socially conscious investing, green investing, sustainable investing, or impact investing.

“Investing is a way that may allow you to further your own economic interests and contribute to the greater good in a way that you define,” she adds.

The best place to begin as you think about how to invest and make an impact, Catherine says, is to determine what values are most important to you and then what investments best align with those personal beliefs.

Scrivano talks about the investment products that are now available to help people define their ethical investments, which could include direct investment capital to communities and projects that might have difficulty getting traditional financing.

She discusses ESG (environmental, social and governance) scores that can help you narrow down what you’re looking for.

She talks about impact investing and how to gauge how effectively an investment can fulfill its goals.

Also, she gives her opinion on whether investors should focus on one area or many.

As is the case with any type of investing, Catherine Scrivano believes it’s important to have clear and realistic expectations. She’ll share some of the best ways to do that.

Catherine believes…
you don’t have to be wealthy to be wise.

Don’t miss her timely financial advice on our The Women’s Eye podcast.
