Have you ever obsessed over a color? So much so you want to wear, eat and consume everything in that color, shade or tone? My recent favorite is violet, purple, lilac, or whatever combination that exists of red and blue. I also like yellow. But our podcast host Stacey Gualandi cannot live without all-things-orange.
She’s spent nearly a decade basking in the fruity color and its relatives coral, pumpkin and tangerine.
Orange is said to have the warmth of red and the optimism of yellow, as well as communicates activity and energy.

As you can see below, Stacey radiates these attributes.
Here’s how Stacey describes her proclivity :
“It started when I got my first Prius back in 2015. It is orange! (Actually, the color is called “habanero.”) Soon after, I bought a fur steering wheel cover in an orange, shaggy style.
attending a television program reunion.
Then began the addition of orange to my wardrobe. Pants, dresses, puffy jackets, a faux fur coat, lipstick, nail polish, bathing suits, athletic wear, shoes and especially purses! When my husband found our house, I said, “Yes,” before I even checked it out. It’s on a street with orange in its name. We accented the main family room in orange, of course.
For our first house party last fall, we settled on the theme “Hayride Hootenanny” and the dress code was…orange. Now I’m thinking of planting orange and tangerine trees. When I saw there’s a hotel in Burbank called The Tangerine, I booked a stay immediately.
I just found out there’s a “Garfield” room at a Motel 6 in Los Angeles that has walls covered in orange shag carpet. I’m making reservations now! Orange is just a happy color. AND it makes me smile! VIVE L’ORANGE!”
Time to go see “The Garfield Movie,” Stacey! And you can check out more TWE videos on our Women’s Eye Youtube channel. Wondering if you have a color you obsess about? Let us know in the Comments below!

Ever since I met Stacey I think of her every time I see the color orange. Today I saw a bag of oranges. I thought of Stacey. Yesterday, at Costco, I saw a Kumquat tree….
