Check out our upcoming TWE winter podcasts with Riza Rasco and Beth Campbell who share the challenges they faced along their journeys to reinvent themselves. During these sometimes cold, sometimes warm winter months, we hope our special guests will empower you. Here’s who you can find on TWE:
Dr. Riza Rasco, The World is My Mirror, One Woman’s Global Journey to Reinvention author
One of our favorite topics on TWE is reinvention and how women are finding fascinating new ways to live their lives. Some are leaving their jobs and setting out in a unpredictable direction that will challenge them in different ways.
Riza, a scientist by trade, walked away from her career and traveled solo to every country in the world (203 countries!!!) and many territories. Her podcast hosted by Laurie McAndish King is an exciting journey you are going to want to listen to or watch. Riza talks about what it’s like to venture out alone to the far ends of the world and how her boots-on-the-ground experience enhanced her understanding of people and cultures and could yours.

Beth Campbell, Lessons from the Valley, Personal Growth Through Life’s Lessons author
Beth is a visionary architectural designer of premier Las Vegas ventures and a thriving cancer survivor. This award-winning founder of Campbell House has become a catalyst for change.

Also looking forward in February to presenting our TWE Valentine’s Cake to a person or group—whether it be a website, an author, or non-profit—that embodies our mission to celebrate people making positive change.
Here are our former recipients who continue to build community through their non-profits in many inspiring ways:

Katie Blomquist, founder of Going Places in Charleston, South Carolina received our second cake in 2024 on a bike-building day in Phoenix from Pam Burke.
Debbie Isaacs and Unshakeable in Las Vegas received our first cake presented by Stacey Gualandi, our podcast host.
Elissa Montanti, founder of the Global Medical Relief Fund on Staten Island, received a cake last year to share with her non-profit.
We can’t wait to present our next cake. You’ll find out who is the lucky person or group mid-February! Happy early Valentine’s Day!
