Joining host Stacey Gualandi on this episode of The Women’s Eye Podcast is Beth Campbell, an award-winning interior design architect and inspirational author of Lessons from the Valley, Personal Growth Through Life’s Lessons.
Campbell practices what she preaches and empowers readers to embrace life’s uncertainties so we can all find the best version of ourselves.
“The purpose of writing this book is that realization that life is going to have valleys, and we all have a choice. You can curl up in the fetal position and wait for the storm to blow by, or you can kind of pick yourself up and figure out how to get refined and stronger and better.”
— Author Beth Campbell

Beth Campbell has over 35 years of global design experience, and is now CEO of Campbell House, an interior design company she launched six years ago in Las Vegas (in fact, we met at her book signing at The Guest House, just one of the many restaurants she transformed in Sin City!). She is currently designing tv personality Lisa Vanderpump’s new hotel on the Las Vegas Strip to open later this year.
Lessons from the Valley is a follow-up to her first book The Journey Through which focused on her battle with stage 3B cervical cancer. The doctor told her it was terminal and she had three years to live. Beth says she spent all her time journaling throughout her treatment which eventually became the basis for her first book.
“This new book is a sister piece that is purely about how to help you get through the valleys. Coming out of cancer, I realized that you can just kind of float through it, or you can actively work to be prepared for the next valley, and then actually come out stronger and better on the other side, and be able to curate what’s next in your own peak.”

After beating the dire diagnosis and reprioritizing her life, Campbell continues to be a catalyst for change. She “shares clear, bite-sized reflections designed to guide you through life’s challenges,” both in her book and during our conversation.
“This is not about avoiding the valleys, right? This is instead about embracing them as part of our personal development, as part of our journey, because they’re going to come. And quite honestly, I know it sounds trite, but without the valleys, you don’t understand how good the peaks are, right?”
Join us to learn how to navigate all the valleys on this episode of The Women’s Eye podcast. This is your invitation to transformation!
