Financial Planner Catherine Scrivano shares tips for talking with kids about money matters on The Women's Eye Podcast "Building Money Power" segment with host Catherine Anaya | Photo courtesy of Catherine Scrivano

Don’t miss a BRAND NEW episode of The Women’s Eye podcast with Catherine Anaya as I talk with Catherine Scrivano, President of CASCO Financial Group in Phoenix, Arizona on how to talk with kids about money.

Catherine is also a regular contributor to The Women’s Eye podcast.

Learn tips for talking with kids about money from Financial Planner Catherine Scrivano on "Building Money Power" featured on The Women's Eye Podcast. Scrivano is President of CASCO Financial Group in Phoenix, Arizona

In this episode, Catherine talks about why we should talk to our kids about how to manage money and how soon we should begin that conversation.

Her feeling is that talking with our children about dollars and cents is just as important as talking to them about the birds and the bees.

She has some practical approaches and suggestions for giving children an allowance, opening a checking account, teaching working-age kids about creating a balanced budget, investing their money, and whether to introduce them to a credit card.

Catherine believes you don’t have to be wealthy to be wise and that often the best financial lessons come from sharing not only our financial successes, but our mistakes and challenges too.
