Don’t miss a BRAND NEW episode of The Women’s Eye podcast and Zoom with Catherine Anaya as I talk with leadership expert, former Planned Parenthood CEO and bestselling author Gloria Feldt on Intentioning: Sex, Power, Pandemics, and How Women Will Take The Lead For (Everyone’s) Good.

Gloria just released this timely new book, and she tells me why she believes the huge disruption of not one, but two pandemics has – and can – offer us a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build back stronger, with women at the center of the recovery.

Gloria talks about “intentioning,” a word she says she made up because it’s an action that goes beyond setting an intention. She’ll discuss the concept and some ways we can use it to magnify our talents.

You’ll hear:

What Gloria believes it will take to reach gender equality and how she remains focused and optimistic.  There are two things that women need to do for themselves.

How we can embrace our power with an attitude of intentioning and fear.

The opportunities we have from the “new normal,” that we are in a season of rebirth and a time to open our minds to new ways of thinking.

How we can “uncover” ourselves and bring our full self to the workplace.

What we can do to overcome the “Eighty-One Power Demons” and how Gloria changed her own behavior patterns.

The importance of setting simple daily intentions.

Many times it takes enormous determination and courage in the face of fear and uncertainty. Leading is about passion. Stand up and do it if something needs changing.
