Vivienne Harr, a fourth grader from Fairfax, CA, rang the bell
as Twitter went public on Wall Street
Lisa Fernandez (nbcbayarea.com) reported that Vivienne was wearing a Twitter-blue tutu and tweeting at her @MakeAStand account, “From a lemonade stand to the bell podium. You can do anything.”
Vivienne sells lemonade to help end global slavery. She told NBC Bay Area that she rang the bell for “hope and freedom,” and that this was for enslaved children to hear. As of Oct. 1, 2013, Make a Stand reports they have given $104,824 to organizations to aid them in their fight against slavery.
